Welcome non-IAM members! I'm happy to have you take a look at my page, but please be aware that in order to comment you will have to be an IAM member.
I started looking at BME in 1995. It took me 10 years to get a membership. Here I am. Check out my body modification timeline.
I'm pretty open-minded with a lot of stuff. Whatever makes you feel good, if it's with informed consent of all parties, do it. And don't let what you do define how you label yourself, unless that's how you feel about yourself.
In spite of everything, I still believe that people are truly good at heart. Anne Frank said it, and it's how I live my life.

2008/07/27 09:50 Whoops, I never updated with the picture of my memorial tattoo for Amanita. I got it on 7/16/08. It was done by Paul Roe at BritishInk, located very close to my school, Gallaudet University. He was nice enough to touch up the other two so they would all look similar.
2008/06/21 19:25 I got home and the new jewelry I ordered before leaving had arrived. I love BodySparkle, the website is goofy but they have a large variety of stuff. In addition to standard barbells for my nips, I got this cartilage shield for my helix and an aurora borealis stone CBR.
2008/06/17 09:27 I'm in Philadelphia. I really really really want to go get a tattoo or piercing. I've been told I can't get an industrial...I still want one. I wonder about getting white ink on my wrist or something on my nape. I don't knooooow. I just feel like going out for a mod or something. Stay tuned!
2008/05/25 11:12 Dammit, my membership expired again. I love having a membership, I've never paid for one yet, but I don't have any awesome pictures to submit. Blah. Jeez, $10/month, $25/30 days, $60/180 days. I can't afford that. I gotta take some pictures or something. *grumbles* Edit: Dammit, I don't have the church-like infrared poses from the Sacramento photo shoots, I only have the street ones and the graveyard ones. I wonder if I can weasel those out of Jerry.
2008/05/20 21:44 So Shannon is gone. I appreciate his Douglas Adams reference in that post title. Rachel says it's going to be "a new day, a new dawn" - we shall see. I'll be around for now.
2008/04/04 07:45 I asked my wife if she thought my nipple piercings were migrating and she said no. Huh, I was sure they were, maybe I'm wrong. If she said they were migrating I was going to consider just taking them out now and letting the holes heal rather than migrating out. I'm still not sure my wife has looked at them closely enough to know, but I guess I'll leave them in for now.
2008/04/01 22:13 I ordered a labret stud to put in my inner conch piercing because it just isn't healing nicely. I had it done back in November and it's still unhappy, but I think the labret will help it...the ring just gets mashed around and moved and twisted too much. I've attached pictures of the new jewelry in my ear.
Also, I think one and possibly both of my nipple piercings are rejecting. People on IAM warned me this might happen due to the small gauge, but after I did my right one at 16ga and went into the shop for the left one, the piercer told me they were fine and shouldn't be a problem. So maybe they're rejecting for another reason, but I'm pretty sure they are rejecting. Oddly, it is the left one (professionally done) that is more definitely rejecting; the right one (DIY) seems like it might be too, but I'm not sure. If they do reject all the way, I am planning to get them redone ASAP with 14ga barbells. Assuming I have money, that is, because tomorrow I will be dropping lots of cash on my hearing aid. Bleah. Well, hopefully they'll take a while to finish rejecting.
2008/03/24 16:43 I have a strange urge to get a LOLcat/ICHC tattoo. Mostly because I don't think anybody else has yet. C'mon world, I'm throwing out this challenge, beat me to a LOLcat tattoo!
